We get information that Riot Developer have already responded to the constant questioning about whether Valorant is coming to Xbox One and PS4. Nowadays Valorant is launching its closed beta before the game fully launches on PC in this summer 2020. But, for PS4 and Xbox One users are left in the dark because they will not be able to enjoy the multiplayer mayhem. Although the console gamers will not be able to enjoy the beta or the game come in this summer 2020, but Riot Games have already suggested that there is hope for it coming to Sony and Microsoft’s platforms in the future.
For response to a PS4 and Xbox One query from Twitch streamer TimTheTatMan, the Valorant lead designer, Trevor Romelski said that Riot Games are open to explore other platforms. Via Dexerto, Riot Games Developer said that now they focus only on PC. They are open to exploring the new opportunities for other platforms, but for the time being what their focus is on the PC platform.
This does not guarantee that Valorant is going to eventually land on PS4 and Xbox One, but at least it is a statement that does not officially rule out the move. Although it can land on Sony and Microsoft’s consoles, if it were to become available on other platforms, you are going to expect the PS5 and Xbox Series X to be a part of Riot Games’ plans. But, that is all speculative thinking because the free-to-play game is only confirmed for PC right now.
Based on the research, Riot Games have already announced that Project A is Valorant. This FPS (first-person shooter) multiplayer experience will be free to play once it launches on PC in this summer 2020. But, there are many PS4 and Xbox One gamers who want to know if there are any plans for it to be released on the consoles. Even though just announced, Valorant has already been compared to Counter-Strike Global Offensive and Overwatch. It is up to you to decide whether these comparisons are worthy or not. Like Dark Souls’ remark, Riot Games’ FPS does sound promising and enjoyable thanks to its pitched strategic gameplay having an emphasis on creativity via the hypernatural abilities.
So, will Valorant be on PlayStation4 and Xbox One? As we said before that Valorant has not been announced for PS4 or Xbox One. Riot Games only have said that they are open to other platforms including Sony and Microsoft’s platforms. When we are writing this article, Valorant is not coming to PS4 and Xbox One because it has only been announced for PC in this summer 2020. Unfortunately, we do know when Valorant come to PS4 and Xbox One. If Riot’s FPS shooter is to land on the consoles at some unspecified date, it would most likely be on the PS5 and Xbox Series X. But, this is nothing more than an assumption, so you do not treat it as an official declaration that Valorant is coming to the PS5 or Xbox Series X
